AWS Security Hub¶
What it is¶
AWS Security Hub is AWS's security-posture aggregation service — centralizes findings from GuardDuty, Inspector, Macie, Config, and third-party tools; evaluates them against security standards (CIS, PCI DSS, AWS FSBP).
Partition scope¶
Security Hub instances are per-partition:
"For monitoring, AWS Config aggregators and AWS Security Hub instances must be configured separately in each partition." (Source: sources/2026-01-30-aws-sovereign-failover-design-digital-sovereignty)
A cross-partition architecture runs one Security Hub per partition; any cross-partition security-posture view is built on top by the customer.
