AWS CodeBuild¶
What it is¶
AWS CodeBuild is AWS's fully managed build service — it compiles source, runs build/test scripts, and produces artifacts on managed compute without provisioning build servers. In the hybrid-orchestration reference architecture it is named as one of the additional compute runtimes (with AWS Batch and Systems Manager) that the serverless orchestration engine can dispatch execution to for different runtime needs.
