RIPE RIS (Routing Information Service)¶
RIPE RIS is the RIPE NCC's Routing Information Service: a network of BGP route collectors that peer with many ASes worldwide and archive the BGP messages they receive as public data (RIB snapshots and Update dumps in MRT format). Together with RouteViews, it is one of the two canonical public sources of observed global BGP state used by researchers and network operators.
