Microsoft Teams¶
Microsoft Teams is Microsoft's enterprise chat and collaboration platform. In this wiki it appears as a user-facing surface for AI agents: enterprises meet employees where they already chat rather than building a new UI, which pushes the design work into the adapter layer (message formatting, identity mapping) and the governance layer behind the bot (what the agent may do on the user's behalf).
Notable traits surfaced by sources:
- Renders GFM markdown (including tables), unlike Slack's Block Kit โ one of the per-platform differences a multi-platform chat adapter must normalize (Source: sources/2026-04-21-vercel-chat-sdk-brings-agents-to-your-users).
- Used as the entry point for an enterprise IT service-desk agent whose actions run under the employee's own identity via a gateway-held OAuth token (Source: sources/2026-10-27-redpanda-how-we-built-an-ai-it-assistant-for-an-enterprise-service-desk).
