What it is¶
Lyft's driver-facing mobile app (iOS + Android). The marketplace supply-side entry point — job acceptance, navigation to pickup, in-trip navigation, earnings.

- sources/2026-04-23-lyft-smarter-pickup-experience-for-gated-communities — the gated-community pickup experience surfaces on the driver app as a small, scannable banner on the navigation screen at precisely the moment the driver approaches the gate. The banner's timing is keyed off the intermediate gate waypoint inserted by pickup routing. Driver-safety-motivated: "a paragraph of gate instructions on their screen at the wrong moment is unhelpful and more importantly, unsafe". Screenshot prevention is enforced on this banner so gate codes cannot be exfiltrated.
