Cloudflare One¶
Overview¶
Cloudflare One is Cloudflare's Zero Trust / SASE platform — the umbrella that includes Cloudflare Gateway (secure web gateway), Cloudflare Access (identity-aware application proxy), device connectivity via the Cloudflare One Client, and MCP Server Portals. It provides the networking pieces of the agent-governance chain: send managed-device traffic through Gateway, classify + control it, and distinguish MCP Portal-originated traffic from direct connections that go outside approved controls. The 2026-08-14 MCP-security update adds Cloudflare One capabilities to identify inspected MCP traffic, show which users and servers generate it (a dedicated MCP traffic dashboard), and control direct connections on managed network paths.
