Airbnb Unified Data Store (UDS)¶
Unified Data Store (UDS) is Airbnb's internal managed data store, referenced in the Skipper disclosure as one of Skipper's pluggable persistence backends alongside MySQL. Stub page — expand on future UDS-internals sources.
Named in the post as one of "the same database the host service already uses: either MySQL or Airbnb's internal Unified Data Store" — UDS fits the same role as MySQL for Skipper: a store the host service already depends on, used directly for workflow state rather than standing up a separate persistence tier.
